Connection, Rapport… Insight, Growth
What inspired me to focus on teen behavioral health is hearing over and over from parents how the connection I make with their child is different, unique, and effective. I use methods of cognitive restructuring, via play and CBT, that teens, young adults, and preadolescent kids find useful and relatable.
I respect cognitive diversity and creatively explore learning alternatives of expression that lessen poor self-regulation and increase strength-based coping.
